HOW LONG DOES THE CFX3 55IM RAPID FREEZER TAKE TO MAKE ICE?
With room temperature up to 32°C and internal temperature set from 2.7°C to 5°C, you will have ice cubes in about 2 and a half hours.
During this time the compressor runs at 100% in order to freeze as fast as possible. After this period of time, the freezer will switch to a standard mode, keeping the ice and reverting to energy saving.
CAN THE CFX3 55IM QUICK FREEZE PLATE FREEZE FOOD OR OTHER THINGS?
Yes! To remove the ice tray, simply lift it up. Try freezing foods or use it to quickly chill hot beer. If any dirt etc gets stuck on the surface, switch off the fast freeze and let it defrost. If you need to clean it, use warm soapy water.
CAN I SIT OR STAND ON THE LID OF A CFX3?
Yes. The lids are made of polypropylene plastic, a material that is very hard to break and will last over time. The interior is made of compact insulating foam. No problem, enjoy.
HOW DO I CHANGE THE OPENING DIRECTION OF THE LID?

CAN THE CFX3 ALSO HEAT?

WHAT ARE THE TEMPERATURES FOR REFRIGERATION AND FREEZING?
We recommend -15°C for freezing and 4°C for refrigeration. These temperatures optimize performance versus power consumption. Remember: Even small increases or decreases in the core temperature settings can affect energy consumption.
IS THE COMPRESSOR IN THESE REFRIGERATORS RELIABLE?

I DON'T SEE THE PORTABLE REFRIGERATOR IN THE WIFI LIST, WHY?
By default, the WiFi signal is deactivated, 'off'. To switch to 'on', press 'SET' on the refrigerator control panel 5 times (one compartment models), or 6 times (two compartment models), followed by '+' once. The default name will be “CFX_xxxxxxxx”.
HOW TO READ THE GRAPH IN THE CFX3 APP?
The graph shows the internal temperature over time and the energy consumption (Ah/h). The temperature line is in white, the energy consumption scale is in orange. Note: Energy consumption is displayed only when using DC power.

QUESTIONS REGARDING THE BATTERY AND POWER
HOW CAN I CONNECT MY CFX3 TO THE SOLAR PANEL?
A battery will be used to store energy from the solar panel. Modern batteries already have an internal charge regulator and will automatically supply power to your CFX3 at the right voltage.
It is recommended to use a solar panel of 100W or more and a battery of at least 40Ah, 500Wh. To find out how long a battery will power your cooler (roughly), look at the watts the fridge draws. For example, with the ECOFLOW River 2 MAX battery, the CFX3 35 can be powered for approximately 25 hours, taking into account that the refrigerator, once the temperature has been reached, will only activate to maintain it. Remember that battery consumption and life largely depend on the use of the refrigerator and the outside temperature.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHARGE THE ECOFLOW BATTERY AND POWER THE CFX3 AT THE SAME TIME?

DOES THE CFX3 KEEP FOOD COLD EVEN IF IT IS TURNED OFF AND THE BATTERY IS LOW?
The Dometic refrigerator has good insulation, which allows it to maintain the internal temperature. In a test conducted by Dometic, the 24 33cl cans inside the CFX3 55 refrigerator warmed up by approximately 1 degree every hour. For the test the internal temperature of the cooler was 3.3°C and the ambient temperature was 21°C.
