Eutectic plates can be used to keep what is transported in a passive box refrigerated. These, previously loaded with cold (keeping them for a few hours in the fridge or freezer), will gradually release the cold inside the container.
It is possible to choose between two types of eutectic plate, or Siberian: the one that returns the cold at a temperature between +2°C and +4°C, or the eutectic plate for frozen products, which gives off cold at a temperature between -25°C C and -21°C.
The eutectic plate for frozen products will, of course, be able to release the high cooling power for less time, compared to the eutectic plate for fresh products. So please consider the transportation time properly.
To help you monitor the temperature of your passive box, we recommend that you equip yourself with a temperature data logger.
