MT4 BLOOD TRANSPORT BAG
B Medical Systems MT transport bags are medical devices designed for the safe transport of blood or other components.

All MT models are ADR, RID, IMDG, ICAO-TI, IATA-DGR and medical devices compliant according to MDR (EU) 2017/745, Class IIa.

The MT4 are passive transport containers, with a gross volume of 8 litres.
The MT4-ET special versions are equipped with special cooling elements which keep the internal temperature within a specific range. The different cooling elements contained in the four versions of MT4-ET correspond to different temperature ranges, suitable for storing plasma, erythrocytes, platelets or blood samples.
Inside the bag there is also an aluminum container, where to insert, for example, the bags without these directly touching the eutectic plates.

ANTIBACTERIAL, ANTICORROSION, SHOCKPROOF
The monobloc structure is made of polyethylene, a practically indestructible plastic material with high mechanical resistance, proven by drop tests. Unaffected by corrosion and therefore also suitable for use in difficult environmental conditions.
The insulation is in thick polyurethane foam, which guarantees the conservation of the original characteristics of the vaccines, blood products, medicines, etc.
Inside the carrying bag there are no corners or inaccessible areas; it can be easily and thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, even with conventional products.

Also perfect in the finishes and details: gaskets on the lid, grooves for perfect stacking, interlocking hinges.

FOR LONG HAUL TRANSPORT - Temperature controlled systems
In the ET versions, MT4 is equipped with PCM (Phase Change Material) systems, cooling or heating elements which will keep the inside of the transport bag in a precise temperature range in every season.

The four temperatures/models available have been designed for the transport of:

  • FFP: frozen plasma (<-30°C)
  • EC: concentrated erythrocytes (+2°C > +8°C)
  • TC: Platelet Concentrate (+15°C > +25°C)
  • EDTA: blood samples ( > +35°C)

Depending on the desired internal temperature, different types of eutectic plates will be used. The difference between the siberinis is clearly visible thanks to the different colors of the internal blend used; therefore, if you use two MTs for different purposes, you cannot fall into error!

The data represent the maintenance of the internal temperature over time depending on the external ambient temperature.
